What should I wear to the ceremony and reception?

Have fun with it! Our prompt for you is "Garden Party", but please feel free to interpret that in whatever way will make you feel fabulous. Our only strong recommendation is comfortable shoes - sneakers would be best, since our venue includes some gravel surfaces and you will want to feel free to walk around to all our areas throughout the party. The bride will be wearing a non-traditional gown, so all colors are fair game!

When should I arrive to the ceremony/reception?

Our ceremony and reception are both happening at the same place, so it's one easy commute for everyone! However, parking will be extremely limited, since we are in a residential neighborhood. There will be a shuttle provided between the Santa Fe plaza and our ceremony venue. The shuttle will make two runs before the ceremony - one pickup at 5:30pm, and one pickup at 6:00pm. If you would like to coordinate a carpool so you can have your vehicle on site, please reach out to Emma and Jake directly so we can connect you with other guests and make sure you have a code for the gate.

Can I camp/do a room share with other guests instead of a traditional hotel room?

Yes! We have some space for people to camp, as long as you can bring a bit of your own gear - contact us and we can figure it out! For room shares/AirBnB shares, we can put you in contact with other guests who are interested in making arrangements. Lots of great options in Santa Fe, and we can provide some scaffolding for guests interested in these accommodations.

How will I leave the reception?

We will be providing a shuttle back to the Santa Fe plaza as well! The evening shuttle will depart at 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, and 12pm. Please feel free to take the evening shuttle even if you've carpooled over to the venue. We want everyone to have a safe ride back to their hotels!

Will we be indoors or outdoors?

Great question! The ceremony will be indoors, but the reception will be primarily outdoors - everyone will be seated under awnings/tents/shade, but it could still be hot. We will provide lots of cold cocktails, mocktails, and water.

What's the weather like in Santa Fe in June?

Historical data suggests that we can expect a range of temperatures from 85 degrees Fahrenheit as a daytime high temperature to 50 degrees Fahrenheit at night, with a mild chance of rain. Santa Fe is at a high altitude, so you might feel more impacted by the sun than you normally would (sunscreen is strongly recommended). We aren't planning on having any part of the ceremony or reception in direct sunlight. For more information about how to manage the higher altitude of Santa Fe, please check out this guide: https://wandernewmexico.com/blog/how-to-prepare-for-santa-fe-elevation

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Our cocktail hour will also be your arrival window, from 6pm to 7pm before the ceremony. There will be drinks (cocktails and mocktails) and light snacks. Dinner will start at 7:45pm, and will be a Southwest x Southeast buffet of Thai and Santa Fe inspired fusion dishes. Lots of vegetarian and peanut allergen friendly options will be available, but please let us know on your RSVP if you have more specific dietary restrictions we should be aware of.

What's the best way to RSVP?

Please use the Google Survey link on our wedding website! It's a bit longer than a traditional RSVP, so we recommend filling it out on a laptop or desktop. We are so excited to celebrate with you! (The RSVP form is not live yet, and we will let you know once it is up).
