Our Wedding

How We Met

It comes at no surprise that Steven and Emma's love story begins at a bar in downtown Houston. The two of them begin talking and many Soco Lime shots later they exchange numbers. A couple weeks later, Steven worked up the courage to ask Emma to go to iPic for their first date. Steven and Emma made it official in January of 2018. Over the next couples years, together, the two of them took many road trips, went sky diving, bought a house, got a puppy, and many more adventures.

The Proposal

The proposal is Emma's favorite story to tell!In June Steven and Emma got asked to take pictures to help a friend grow her photography business. The photographer reached out and asked to reschedule their session for July because she had "something come up". Little did Emma know, this was all part of Steven's plan. Come July, the two of them go to get their pictures taken and Steven gets down on one knee with the most BEAUTIFUL ring! Steven and Emma get home to see two of their best friends waiting for them to help celebrate their engagement. Just when Emma thinks the surprises are over, her parents and Steven's parents come out from the other room! Emma's parents flew in from Iowa and Steven's parents drove down from New York, in the middle of a pandemic, just to be there for the two of them on their special day! The entire day was absolutely perfect!

Transportation

We do not have Block for this hotel, but we recommend staying here if the Hampton Inn fills up. The shuttle will bring people to and from the Hampton Inn and The La Quinta is nearly touching the Hampton Inn.
