Daniel and Emma’s love story started on May 1, 2023, when they matched on Hinge. Within the first week, Daniel asked for her number and started planning their first date immediately. What neither of them knew was that May 13 would be their last first date, because it was truly love at first sight. After a 4 mile hike at Stony Creek Metropark, they had dinner at Stony Creek Roadhouse and started talking about their values, goals, and dreams in life. They were immediately on the same page about wanting to get married, have kids, and raise them to love God just as Emma and Daniel have been raised. After 5 months of a grueling hour-long drive any time they wanted to see each other, they

signed their first apartment lease, and shortly thereafter they adopted a little brother, Hank, for their dog Gracie Lyn. Just before their one-year anniversary, Daniel surprised Emma by recreating their first date and proposing. Though the hike was almost cut short by some storms that were in the area, they pushed on to where her best friend was hiding in the woods to photograph the proposal. They finished the date by having their families surprise her at Stony Creek Roadhouse, where they had their very first dinner just a year before. Their love story is truly one of a kind, and these two could not have found a better match. They share a love for movies, pushing themselves in their education, and most importantly, their love for each other. They are so excited to celebrate their union with all of their loved ones!
