Our Wedding

Emma & Matt were both born and raised on Cape Cod. They each have a mutual love of the ocean and sports. Matt grew up playing football, hockey, and baseball and Emma was a cheerleader. The story begins with their school rivalry as Matt went through the Barnstable School system and Emma went to Sandwich. They met during high school after Emma caught Matt’s eye coming across her Instagram. He shot his shot by reaching out to her for a date. With Emma’s competitive nature she thought no way a football player from a rival school! Matt knew there was something special about Emma and never gave up on his gut feeling. Fast forward to Summer of 2020, Matt gave another attempt in charming Emma by proposing the idea of pizza on Sandwich Boardwalk at sunset. How could Emma say no to a date night at her favorite hometown spot. Needless to say, sparks flew, and their relationship blossomed from there. In June 2023, Emma &amp; Matt moved into their quaint and cozy home in Plymouth, Ma. Months later Matt surprised Emma and got down on one knee at the very spot she had dreamed about, on the boardwalk in Myrtle Beach, SC. November 18th, 2023 will forever be one of Emma’s favorite days. Amidst their wedding planning, they decided their home was missing something and they simply could not wait; Ellie Mae, a cavapoo puppy, joined their lives in August 2024. She has been their bundle of cuteness and energy since. The activities that keep Emma and Matt’s sparks flying are boat days, going to the beach, and doing the exact thing that kept them apart in their earlier stages of their relationship, watching football. Traveling is one of their most special things to do together. They hold many memories in New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut, New York, Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Out of all these places their favorite place to visit is Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. They could not be more excited for this next chapter to begin and are thrilled to celebrate their true love with family and friends on November 7th, 2025.
