Jake and Emma started their life journey together at their favorite restaurant. Jake was a senior in college at ISU working to graduate with a degree in Construction Management. Emma was a freshman at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College taking pre-nursing courses.

Jake and Emma filled their lives with fun adventures such as hiking, visiting the zoo, and traveling. Life soon slowed with quarantine reaching its peak but it did not stop the love story between them. Adventures continued as much as they could during this challenging time and love grew between Jake and Emma.

Traveling and hobbies continued through the year 2021. Fishing, canoeing, traveling, and numerous breweries/wineries filled their year. Jake and Emma’s favorite adventure this year was a trip to French Lick where Jake surprised Emma with a meet and greet with her favorite animal!

Emma and Jake move in together! Baby Scooter joined their family in the year 2022. Leo is now a big brother and wasn’t quite amused by this new addition, but they quickly become best friends!

Emma graduates with her BSN! Life for Emma and Jake continues to grow with amazing opportunities. Jake obtains his Commercial Drivers License and works as a semi-truck operator. Emma works hard as a new grad nurse and loves her career!

Jake pops the question and Emma says yes! Wedding planning continues and they cannot wait for their big day to come. Jake and Emma are so excited to continue their journey together and discover what life brings!
