Dress code is formal. For the ladies, you can rock any length dress, a fun jumpsuit, or nice pants and blouse. For the men, a suit or sports coat will be perfect! The ceremony will be a Catholic Mass so please dress modestly as well!

While we adore your kids, we are having an adult-only event. Bring your dancing shoes and make it a date night. We cannot wait for you to celebrate with us!

We will be having an unplugged ceremony. Out of respect for the Mass, we ask that you refrain from taking photos during the Mass. But you do not need to worry because our photographer will make sure to capture all of our special moments!

We suggest arriving approximately 30 minutes prior to the Ceremony so that the mass can begin on time!

The ceremony will be inside at St. Mary Cathedral in the sanctuary and the reception is also indoors at the Blossom Barn. There will be an outdoor cocktail hour weather permitting.

Everyone is welcome at the Mass! You can participate in any prayers, readings, etc. When the communion procession begins, we ask that you cross your arms when approaching the minister of communion to let them know that you aren’t Catholic. They will say a prayer over you, and you will return to your seat. You are also welcome to remain at your seat if you are more comfortable with that.

The ceremony is taking place near Purdue’s campus so there are many chances to explore. Campus is a beautiful place to walk around and there are tons of things to see. There are also lots of little shops down on Wabash Landing and downtown Lafayette that are great to check out!

For the ceremony St. Mary Cathedral has a designated parking lot that will be available for parking. There is also an extra parking lot across the street from the lower lot as well as some along the streets. There are also several parking garages in the area for overflow parking. For the reception at Blossom Barn, parking is available at the designated areas on the North side of the property (gravel and grass areas). Please pull into the areas that identify parking locations. Parking is not permitted on the road (950 West).
