Where is Cornerstone Acres located?
Cornerstone Acres Weddings and Events is located in Springfield, Kentucky, about 1 hour and 15 minutes (62 miles) from Jeffersonville, Indiana. The address is 379 Rudd Lane, Springfield, Kentucky.
Where do we park?
There is ample parking available in the parking lot next to the white barn. Signs will be out to direct vehicles to the correct driveway.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible. From the parking lot, there is a very low-profile golf cart that can transport those needing assistance up the hill to the ceremony site/door of the venue. Just let us know ahead of time if the golf cart is needed.
There are also indoor ADA bathrooms located within the reception building.
Is the ceremony outdoors or indoors?
The ceremony is outdoors and the reception is indoors with the ability to roam the property outdoors where ever the grass has been mowed. If we happen to have heavy "April showers," the ceremony will be moved in doors.
Is there a dress code for the wedding?
The dress code is semi-formal/dressy casual attire. Just as Bro. Branham directed for church services, we ask that you "wear your best." If your best is a suit or fancy dress, wonderful. If your best is a nice pair of jeans/jean skirt, that is fine as well. Our color scheme is full of dark tones: burnt orange, peacock/dark teal, burgundy, etc., but wear the colors you feel comfortable in.
It's April. What's the weather going to be like?
April 11 averages 67 degrees for a high and 39 degrees for a low. Dressing in layers is suggested.
Can I bring a guest?
Although we would love to have everyone there to help us celebrate, it's just not possible. Due to the limited reserved space, only those with names directly on the wedding invitations may attend and will have reserved seats at the reception.
I'm hungry. What are we eating?
Dinner will be served after a Light Refreshments Hour (photography hour for the wedding party). Dessert will follow.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to the ceremony in order to park, make your way to the ceremony area, and find a seat. If arriving after the ceremony has begun, due to unforeseen circumstances, please wait until all bridal party members are upfront and enter quietly.
What time does the celebration end?
The bride and groom will exit the reception around 9 p.m. You are welcome to stay longer, especially if you want to lend a hand...we must be off the venue property by 12 a.m.
Can I take pictures?
Yes! Please take pictures (so long as it isn't interfering with the professional photographer or videographer) and send them to us using the QR codes posted. The more pictures, the better!
You said there are other activities to follow the reception...like what?
Wear comfortable shoes or be prepared to go shoeless! There will be a hayride, 9-High, corn hole, giant Jenga, giant Connect 4, golf practice, and more!
