Austin and I met on a dating app and he messaged me with some cheesy pick up line. We talked on the app for awhile, and really hit it off, he then asked for my snap chat and we started talking on there. However, I did not respond very quickly because I didn’t think it was going to turn into anything. He eventually asked me to FaceTime, the first time I told him I was too busy, a few days later I finally did. 😂 We FaceTimed for hours that night and got to know each other and he asked to take me on a date. We were planning to meet in West Union for pizza as that was the halfway point. The night we had planned on having our first date he ended up having to reschedule because he said he forgot he planned something else. At this time I wasn’t getting my hopes up about having that first date. He did in fact try again for another date, this time he had drove up to me early in the morning and we met up at a local cafe for breakfast. After breakfast, he came over to my house and we talked some more. After that we drove to the gym and worked out together and then came back to my house and worked on our homework as we were both in college. When I completed my homework, I cooked dinner for us. After dinner, we watched a scary movie at my house and ended the night with some popcorn. We both agreed it was the best first date that either of us had been on. We instantly clicked and had great chemistry. Austin continued coming down to my house weekly, along with nightly FaceTime chats. We always did something fun when he would come down. Our second date we went to a smash room with a few friends and then karaoke after! Eventually, he finally popped the question and he asked me to be his girlfriend. Austin proposed when we went to go see Christmas lights with our two best friends present. We currently have a cat together named Milo. We are very excited to get married in April and celebrate with Friends and family! 💕
