Matt and Emma matched on Tinder in October of 2020. They didnt first meet until December of 2020, but have been inseparable ever since. They may even consider it love at first match! They have two cats together, Alfie Walter and Petunia Mae. Their fur babies are the center of both of their worlds. If Alfie and Petunia could be here today, they absolutely would. Alfie is definitely a dads boy, but has his soft spot for cuddling with his mom. Petunia, better known as Tunie, is a moms girl, but occasionally gives dad love when mom isnt around. Matt and Emma have traveled so many times together. 1 cruise that took them to 4 different countries, Jamaica, Mexico, Bahamas and Cayman Islands. 1 trip across the ocean to Hawaii. 1 unforgettable trip to Florida to visit Disney World to drink around the world for Emmas 21st birthday. Countless road trips to Lake Tyler (their favorite!), San Antonio, Houston, Oklahoma, Lubbock, Arkansas and so many more places! We are so incredibly blessed to celebrate our love with so many important people. We would like to thank everyone that has made an impact on not only our relationship as a whole, but helped shape the people we are today.

Emma’s sister from another mister, bestie friend, (platonic) soulmate. The one she couldn’t make it through life without.

Jacob is Matt’s best man and brother of 21 years. Always tormenting each other but they both couldn’t do life without the other. Matt is so proud of the man Jacob has become, from being a baseball/football star to becoming a Melissa firefighter. Matt can’t wait to continue to watch the man Jacob becomes. 

Jacob Kusano 

Emma’s role model. She grew up as the only girl, but never had to live without a sister, thanks to Jae. 

Jaedyn Avery 

Matt and Jack have Crista and Emma to thank for this great friendship. While they never expected to be close, it’s nothing but laughs when they are together. 

Jack Myers

One of the best things softball brought to Emma. From concussions on Emma’s 16th birthday to now planning their weddings together! They couldn’t have done this journey without each other. 

Karla Galbo

Robert is one of Matt’s newest friends, but has very quickly become one of his closest. From building an entertainment center to s’mores by the fire, they enjoy spending every weekend together (thanks to Emma and Becca).

Hailey is Emma’s “little chicken”. Both growing up with army dads, they grew close very fast while playing softball together. Their friendship has lasted 6 years of long distance, and is never ending. 

Hailey Ohlmann

Trevor was one of Matt’s first trainees at work, and now a “little brother”. Matt has enjoyed watching Trevor grow into the man he is today, and grateful for their friendship extending out of work.

Trevor Duggan 

Becca is one of Emma’s “newest” friends, but they both couldn’t imagine doing life apart. It feels as though they’ve been bestfriends since birth. Matt has known Becca since middle school, and never saw their friendship being as strong as it is, so many years later!

Becca Atherton 

“Big Jake” is Matt’s newest brother. A man that Matt is so grateful to see his sister married to. Big Jake fits right into the Kusano boys. 

Jake Allen

Emma’s very longest friend. Emma and Prestynn met in 6th grade, and Emma is so excited to still have such an amazing friendship. Prestynn has always been the biggest light in Emma’s life. 

Prestynn Lacey 

Gabe is Emma’s baby brother (pictured 6 but now 14). Emma and Matt couldn’t imagine getting married without him standing with them.

Emma is so grateful to have gained two sisters when meeting Matt. Peyton is exactly who Emma always dreamed to have around. Now spending so much time together, and talking all the time!

Peyton Kohler 

One of Emma’s twin brothers. Life is anything but dull with these guys. Andrew has the biggest heart out of anyone and couldn’t imagine doing it without him standing with us.

Emma finally has a sister! Abby is Matt’s younger sister, and someone Emma couldn’t wait to have! Always looking forward to the fun memories when Abby is around. 

Abby (Kusano) Allen

One of Emma’s twin brothers. Probably the person in the world that is most like Emma. Emma and Matt are so excited to have him standing with them. 

Austin Newton

Emma and Rachel met and instantly became close. Emma couldn’t imagine life without her Rachy and is so thankful to have someone so close after all these years. 

Rachel Glenn

Jesus is one of Matt’s oldest friends, going all the way back to AC class in high school. They received the same scholarship and attended college together. Now working for the same company, both moving up to leadership roles. They couldn’t have done it without each other.
