It all began when Adam received a photo of Emma at the pickleball courts thinking his co-workers were playing a prank on him because he couldn't believe that this girl was real (obviously blown away by how incredibly beautiful she was). Come to find out, Emma's best friend's dad was on the other side of the text- which also raised suspicion. However against his disbelief he decided to text her (FINALLY after a few long weeks of waiting). Emma had her reservations too, she was being set up with someone named Adam Smith, let's be real. Fast forward a few weeks of texting, they finally went on their first date, which went - well they're getting married so you know how! After a few dates, hiking, pickle balling, and getting to know each other, Adam was headed to Salt Lake City for the next six months and Emma was unsure if this was just a fling or if they were going to make this thing work. Adam then proceeded to tell her that they were in fact boyfriend and girlfriend and he didn't think he needed to ask her that, which was a huge relief because Emma was not ready to let go of this man that easy. While Adam was in Salt Lake, Emma would fly out and visit for a few days at a time, usually a month apart and they would develop their relationship off of countless hours of FaceTime and phone calls, what better way to fall in love? Once baseball season was over that year, Adam moved back to Arizona and their relationship continued to grow stronger over the next couple of years. Moving in together, grabbing a couple extra companions, going on trips together, and becoming inseparable. Adam realized that he couldn't possibly live without Emma so he planned the most beautiful engagement and executed it (almost) flawlessly. Obviously Emma said yes immediately! And that brings us to today, and will bring us to their wedding, and through to the rest of their lives, happily ever after.
