Emma and Connor’s story began back in college, though it wasn’t exactly love at first sight. Emma was home for the holidays and went to a party at NC State. Connor was there too, but their paths only crossed briefly that night—no sparks, no exchanged numbers, just a fleeting moment in time.

Fast forward to 2021, during COVID, when Emma had moved back to Raleigh. Thanks to a fateful swipe on Hinge, they reconnected. Emma broke the ice with a casual, “Remember me?” and the rest is history. Their first date at Raleigh Beer Garden turned into many more, and soon they were inseparable.

Since then, their story has been filled with adventures—countless walks with their dog, Ohio, on Durant Nature Trail, amazing trips, and plenty of cherished memories.

On their three-year anniversary, Connor made their story official with a proposal in front of Buckingham Palace in London. Emma said yes, and now they’re ready to keep the adventures going—this time, as husband and wife.
