Lexie is one of the greatest friendships I have ever had. We met at Program Training in 2021, and then got to grow our friendship living down the hall from each other at Liberty University. She has held me in the worst of times, and laughed until we peed (only a little) in the best of times. We also have a certain voice we use when talking to each other. Why? I don't know. Anyways, my forever racquetball partner and an easy decision for my go-to girl!

I first heard of Malery when her husband, Clint, and Harry were telling me DAILY how great of friends we would be and they couldn't wait for us to meet. Well, they were right. Mal and I worked at Union together this past summer and we were also roommates! She is the best of the best. She also got hit at a gas station after driving up for our engagement, so she's with us for life. She pushes me to be better, and I enjoy every minute I spend with her. I love Mal!

My Ali girl and I met summer of '22 at North Greenville University! She technically lived in the house beside mine, but halfway through the summer, the spare bed in my room was taken! Ali lives so far from me, but when we see each other, it's like no time has passed! Ali hugs are the best hugs - she is my girl!

Oh Brookie - I met Brooke in Mrs. Hennings' class in Kindergarten! We would always have to move our green card together cause we would hold our breath until our faces turned red. To this day, she is the longest friendship I have had, and it is the sweetest! I am her biggest fan, and about a month after my wedding, I get to stand beside her at hers! I love my Brooke!

Brittany is my cousin! We have grown up together being thousands of miles away, or a quick drive down the road. Brit has seen all my stages and somehow loved me anyways! We've had countless sleepovers and painting parties. Brit and I bake a lot with my grandma, and we ALWAYS make more than we should. Brit is getting married a couple weeks before me, so when you see her at the wedding, she'll have her new-wife glow!

I honestly can't remember when I met Farrah - I feel like I've known her forever! We grew up in church together and have gone through it all. We sat together at lunch in high school, sang karaoke in her garage, and everything in between. Farrah is so loyal - she is the friend that I know would do anything for me. My life of the party!

Mady is also my cousin! She and I are the youngest two in the family, and were always attached at the hip at family events, especially when the big kids wouldn't let us play with them. We created dances to show our moms to ask if we could have sleepovers (and honestly they were pretty good). Mady and I also have a sleepover with our grandparents every year on the night before Thanksgiving. Harry already knows he'll be alone that night - I'm booked!

Trevor has been my best friend since high school. We lived together at UT, attended the same church in Knoxville, and played a lot of ultimate frisbee together. We tower over everyone we meet and basically speak in our own language of gifs and jokes. Through highs and lows, Trevor has always been in my corner. I am so grateful to have him standing by me. He’s my “best good pal.”

I first met Clint in 2021 when he randomly appeared at my FUGE staff’s inventory. (I was wearing shoulder pads at that moment). Our relationship grew when we got to work camp together in 2022. Since then Clint has been a consistent source of wisdom, accountability, and encouragement.

Tucker and I worked Fuge together in 2021, both serving as tamers of small, feral middle schoolers. I love making jokes and taking terrible photos with him, but I also love discussing and doing ministry with Tucker because he is wise beyond his years.

Preston and I have worked 3 summers of FUGE together, but our friendship extends beyond camp. Outdoor adventures and sneaking around Union after hours have cemented Preston as a “ride or die.” Preston is consistent and sharpens me like no other person.

I met Hunter through Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church. We bond over sports, video games, and shared trials from being UT engineers. Hunter is kind, caring, and stylish. He has always given an encouraging word and a welcoming hug when I need it.

Tyler was my Fuge director in 2021, but he has remained in my inner circle because of his loyalty, encouragement, insight, and charcuterie board skills. Tyler is the funniest person I have ever met, and he has faithfully supported me through all seasons of life.

Jared and I became friends through Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church. Catching up with him is so fun because in the course of one phone call we can talk life, movies, theology, entertainment, and anything else without ever missing a beat. Jared has always given me thoughtful input and solid counsel.
