Their very first pictures together! Emma had just finished her Freshman year at the University of Arizona and Ben was in his second year at Pima Community College. They had met through a mutual friend. At this point, they had gone climbing and hiking together a couple of times starting in March 2019 as friends... but both had a crush on each other!

Ben took Emma on a hike and asked her to stop being so confusing about whether or not she wanted to date him! They decided to give it a real chance.

The day Ben asked Emma to be his girlfriend! She finally said yes!

The night that Emma told Ben she loved him for the first time. Ben, on the other hand, wasted no time in doing so! Here, they were neighbors living at The Retreat with their friends.

Their first trip out of the country together and Ben's first trip with the whole Peterson family - Rocky Point, Mexico!

Their first year of dating was celebrated in the height of Covid-panic! Emma moved back home with her parents and Ben spent a lot of time "quarantining" with the Peterson family for much of that summer!

Their first of three Europe trips together! Ben and Emma spent Christmas and New Years in France with the Kelly/DuFlot family - it was magical!

This was their first picture together after starting a long-distance relationship and not seeing each other for 2 months! Emma moved to Tempe, AZ for a 2-year graduate school program. Ben would make the drive to see her every weekend he could, despite his busy work schedule.

She said yes!! On their third Europe trip, Ben surprised Emma with a Barcelona getaway. On the first night of their adventure, back at the hotel, after a night of paella, patatas bravas, and Flamenco, he got down on one knee!

Emma left her Tempe home and moved in with Ben at the place his parents bought years prior. They worked really hard to make the house their home! They got a tortoise, built a garden, a bar, and more. After more than 5 years of dating, 2 of which were long distance, they were finally together! By the time June 06, 2026 rolls around, they will have been together for almost 7 years!

Meet Koda! Emma and Ben welcomed their first puppy together just a few months ago and are absolutely in love. This is Ben's first puppy ever! He has quickly become part of the family and adjusted great to Emma's and Ben's adventurous lifestyle.
