Sam and I met when I started attending church at the River Searcy in 2020. We became close friends for about 2 years and we both never expected to develop feelings for each other. About 1.5 years into our friendship we began to grow closer and our feelings started to change. Sam eventually expressed his feelings and asked me to be his girlfriend! We made it through me working two summer camps (being gone the whole summer) and him having to be gone for weeks at a time for work. The Lord has held us together after everything, and we fall more in love with each other every day. We are so excited about this next chapter in our lives and that the Lord is leading it all.
