What should I wear for the Ceremony?

Attire: Cocktail. Please know there will be gravel, grass and dirt that you will be walking on so wear something comfortable on your feet!

Is there plus ones allowed?

Unfortunately, we are limiting plus ones due to the space of the venue. We ask that the individuals who are listed on the invite are the ones who will be attending our special day.

Is there liquor provided or BYOB?

There will be a limited amount of beer & cider. Wine bottles will be provided at the table for dinner, but please feel free to BYOB!

Do I need clothing options?

Yes! We will have blankets placed around the venue for you if you get cold, but please feel free to change into comfy or warmer clothes after dinner. We want you to feel comfortable, at home and enjoy the night with us! - Bring your swim gear!

Do I need to bring anything?

Lawn chairs, change of clothes, swimsuit & BYOB as there is limited liquor provided

Is there parking?

Yes, there is parking on site of the venue but please know it is limited. Carpooling is encouraged!

Accommodation's?

Please see the "Accommodations" tab for more information. There is property across the lake that is owned by the Beattie's where you can set up a tent or trailer as well.

What is the address to the venue?

103 Beattie Lane, East Dalhousie (Burke Lake) * If you have google maps, the address should come right up. But if not, try using the coordinates. 44.73696° N, 64.68888° W

Is there a smoking area?

Yes, there is a smoking area down by the lake. We ask that you kindly keep the property clean though. Ash trays are provided.

Is there a gift registry?

As we have lived together for many years and our little home is full, we have decided to do a honeymoon fund instead! If you were thinking of giving a gift to help us on our way, a contribution towards our honeymoon would make our day!

How far is the drive?

From Kingston, the drive is about 35 mins.
