Emma and Phil met Romeo and Juliet style in September 2017 with Phil atop the brewhouse “balcony” at 3 Stars Brewing and Emma on the ground level asking for directions. She remembers thinking, he’s cute. Flash forward to a few weeks later and Phil is joining the team at Port City Brewing Company. For the next two years Emma subtly flirted with Phil to no avail…he wasn’t picking up on it. Finally, one fateful night, the release of Colossal 8 at Port City gave Emma the liquid courage she needed to tell Phil the truth, “I like you”. Phil took his time with the new information and waited a month to call Emma. During that time, Phil would try to find Emma at Port City to chat while she was actively avoiding him.

Once he made that call they set up their first date, March 2 2019, at Mason Social…and the rest is history!
