Tyler and Emma met in 2020, living 3 doors down from each other in Ferndale, MI. 

The house across the street between their two houses were being renovated and the construction workers noticed when Emma and roommate Julia moved in. They haggled Tyler and roommate Joey for months to head a few doors down and introduce themselves to the new girls on the block. 

Eventually, a bottle of wine with a note was left on the girls front porch. This lead to plans being made to have a drink together the night before thanksgiving in 2020. (Fun fact: Emma was initially entirely disinterested in attending this and showed up more than an hour late because she chose to go to the gym after work instead. Typical)
The group then hung out as friends for months before Tyler and Emma decided to start a romantic relationship. The rest is history!
