What time should I arrive?
Please arrive about 15 minutes early from the ceremony start time, so we can begin in a timely manner and not delay the celebration! Start time is 5pm EST.
What should I wear?
Our wedding day will be 'garden party' cocktail attire! More information can be found in the 'Attire and Theme' section of this website.
Are there any additional events happening for the wedding that weekend?
We would love all guests to join us for Welcome Drinks the night before. The Room block includes Friday night for everyone traveling in. Welcome Drinks will take place at the Amazonia Rooftop.
We are also having an After-Party at the Silver Lyan speakeasy (an old bank vault!) in the basement of the Riggs Hotel for everyone who wants to keep the party going!
I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?
A small block of rooms were reserved at the Riggs Hotel Washington DC. You can find more info about our hotel block in the 'Travel' section of this website.
Where should I park?
For guests staying at the Riggs Hotel, there is valet parking available for a nightly fee. Please note, there is very limited parking at the Meridian House. We suggest taking a Lyft/Uber, taxi, or public transportation to the venue.
A shuttle bus will be available at the end of the night for anyone traveling back to the Riggs Hotel.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
We ask guests to refrain from using phones during the ceremony. We will have a photographer and videographer to capture every special moment!
Can I bring a date?
All guest’s names are listed on your invitation. Otherwise, we’d love to keep the wedding as intimate as possible.
Are kids welcome?
With the exception of immediate family, we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adults only celebration.
