Q + A

Are children allowed?

We love your little ones, but to keep the celebration relaxed and enjoyable for everyone, our wedding will be an adults-only event. We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you! Note: Children are more than welcome to come with you to Hawaii for a fun family vacation !

What is the dress code for each event?

The Welcome Party (Boat Rehearsal): Casual boat attire! Think breezy linens, chic beachwear and comfortable shoes for a fun evening on the water. Ceremony & Reception: Island chic. Breezy yet elegant for a stylish day by the ocean. For Ladies: Flowy sundresses, maxi dresses or classy linen sets in light, breathable fabrics. Tropical prints or neutral tones are ideal. For Gentlemen: lightweight linen shirts (long-sleeve is preferred), dressy slacks, and closed toe shoes. Ties and jackets are option - island vibes are encouraged. Tips for Both Events: Both will be outdoors - on the beach, a boat and a grassy field. We cannot wait to see your island best!

Can I RSVP online or by mail?

We invite you to RSVP online via our wedding website.

What is the easiest way to get to and from the venue?

For the ceremony at Kualoa Ranch, we recommend taking an Uber or Lyft from your accommodations. Please note the drive from Waikiki is approximately 45 minutes, so plan accordingly. From the reception, a shuttle service will be provided back to a central Waikiki drop-off location to be determined. Shuttles will depart Kualoa Ranch at 10:00pm with a ride time of approximately 45 to 60 minutes.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors under the hawaiian sun! Guests will be sitting in an open air venue for the ceremony, with cocktails to be served in a nearby garden and the reception under a covered space still exposed to the outdoors.

What is the best airport to use?

Please utilize Honolulu International Airport.

What is the weather and climate like in the area?

Hawaii sunshine & ocean breeze!

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

To keep the celebration intimate, with our closest friends and family, we are not able to accommodate plus ones. The name of every guest invited to attend will be clearly listed on your invitation.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a buffet style dinner with a choice of salad, entree and sides.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Your love, support and presence are the best gifts we could ask for! If you would like to send a gift outside of our registry, you can mail it to our address 501 S Rios Ave Solana Beach, CA 92075. A wedding card box will be available at our reception as well.
