Jake (Best Man) brought Sam to Paper Fest in Kimberly to meet his new girlfriend Makayla (Maid of Honor) and some of her friends. This is where Sam and Emma met for the first time. Sam tried talking to Emma, but she ignored him all night long.

Sam showed up uninvited with Jake to Emma's family camping trip that Makayla and Harley were on with her.

Sam continued to follow Emma around to various Glam Band events even though she liked ignoring him. However, Emma finally started to talk to Sam more at this point.

We took a ride up to Door County for the day. During our hike at Peninsula State Park, Sam got down on one knee at the beach! Emma ran over and basically tackled him. She technically never actually said yes, she just said, "You gonna put it on my finger or not?"
