It all started back in April of 2017 at Stagecoach Music Festival. Brett drove up from San Diego to join his friends for a weekend of country music and beer drinking and Emma drove down from Santa Barbara to join her sorority friends for a weekend of cute outfits and dancing. She wasn't a fan of country music at the time, but was offered a free ticket and a place to stay with her friends, which she couldn't pass up.

It turned out that one of Emma's sorority friends knew one of Brett's friends, and the groups collided over a couple drinks by the Honky Tonk Tent. Next thing you know, Brett and Emma were dancing the night away to Thomas Rhett and Kenny Chesney. It became quite clear to both of them, this was something special.

After saying their goodbyes at the end of the festival, Emma couldn't stop thinking about the boy she had met at Stagecoach, and it turned out that boy felt the same way. The next day, he reached out with a simple text:

"So when am I going to see you again?"

Two sushi dates and one baseball game later, Brett took Emma to his favorite scenic spot in San Diego. Sitting in the bed of his truck with a bottle of red wine and their favorite country songs playing in the background, he asked,

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

Fast forward six years later...On September 5th, 2023, Brett proposed to Emma in Paris on a private rooftop overlooking the Eiffel Tower. With rose petals, champagne, and a photographer capturing the moment, Emma was overwhelmed with emotion and of course, said YES!

Over the past seven years Emma and Brett have created countless memories together from discovering the world's best plate of carbonara in Rome, to ziplining through the jungle of Costa Rica, and everything in between. They live together in El Segundo and have welcomed a third member to their family, their puppy Rue!

The next chapter of their love story is just around the corner and they cannot wait to share it with all of you.
