Our love story started in September of 2019 when we matched on Bumble & decided to go on a date. Neither of us ever imagined we'd find our forever on an app, nor did we necessarily want that to be our 'love story'. But it was undeniable from the very early days, this was something special. Both of us almost canceled on the date for different reasons, but thankfully we didn't & we met up at a local Burbank brewery. We played tilted jenga, a modified version of corn hole with strangers who definitely had no idea how to play, and started to get to know each other. We set up another date a week later, and the rest was history. It was the date we wished would never end, we could talk & be in each other's presence for hours and the conversation would never stall. From then on, we spent whatever moments we could with each other - from meeting halfway at the In n Out in Sylmar, to Santa Clarita nights at Mabels, to day trips to Carpinteria beach. We cherished every moment because in the back of our minds there was a looming expiration date - I would have to leave California in December 2019 & move back to Nashville to finish my last semester of college. I'll never forget our conversation in the Sylmar In n Out parking lot, we decided there didn't have to be an expiration date - we would do whatever it took to continue our story. And that's exactly what we did.

From Emma - Tyler is the human version of sunshine and he brings the brightest light into my world - and to everyone he meets. He matches my silly, makes a mean avocado egg toast, and never fails to make me laugh.

From Tyler - Emma is truly amazing inside & out. I'm so excited about the life that we've begun to build, and I cannot wait to marry her.

So fast forward almost 4 years, and we got our happy ending - here's to the start of forever. <3
