What should I wear?

The wedding will be outdoors, weather permitting. Attire is Summer Semiformal- dresses for ladies and suits for men. Ladies may want a block heel as some walking on grass/trail areas will be required. Reception has an outdoor deck and it will get cool in the evenings so a light jacket or wrap may also come in handy.

Where should I park for the reception at the VUE?

If you are an overnight guest at the Homewood Suites you can park anywhere in the parking garage or in their lot. If you are staying off site you can still park in their lot until it is full. If their parking lot is full there is overflow parking along the street and a Dillon public parking lot across the street.

Are kids invited to the ceremony?

If "family" is included on your invitation then YES your kids are invited. It is of course up to you if you need to put them to bed or if they will be disruptive during the ceremony a babysitter may be a better option.

Are kids invited to the reception?

If "family" is on your invitation then YES. We will have a children's food option. Please list if your child has any food allergies on your RSVP

How can I acclimate to the altitude so I don't get sick?

Dillon sits 9000 ft above sea level. The sudden increase in elevation can often times leave people feeling sick. You are best to hydrate A LOT before you fly into Denver. Driving will put you at less risk but you still need to hydrate more than you would think. We also suggest talking to your doctor as there are some medications that can be prescribed and taken before entering the mountains.
