Walk around the battlefield where two battles were fought in the war of 1812. Right on the water it's a great spot to see Lake Ontario!

We highly recommend walking around downtown Sackets Harbor. A few of our favorite spots include:

- Tin Pan Galley for brunch

- Chrissy Beans for baked goods and coffee

- Good Fellows for Pizza

- 1812 Brewing Company for dinner on the water

Take a cruise around the Thousand Islands to see lighthouses and historic castles! There is also a fun downtown with waterfront eating.

If you are feeling a bit more adventerous and up for a drive, the Adirondacks have some of the best fall colors in New York!
