Alex and I met in 2007 at a friends bonfire. He thought I was cute, I thought he was annoying and a player. Fast forward 8 years. I liked a photo of his on facebook and he decided to send me a facebook message. We talked on the phone for 2 hours that night. It turns out that both of us had some similar struggles and we bonded over that. We had a ton in common. The first time we kissed, Alex burped in my mouth. There is a strong possibility that was the moment I knew he was something special. We had a lot of speed bumps in the first year but we always worked it out and we grew stronger as a team because of that. We have spent the last 3 years growing together and building a life together. Alex had one big bonus that came along with him, a perfect son named AJ. The three of us have loved becoming a family and AJ could not be more excited that I am his soon to be step mommy (although he wasn't to happy with all the attention we received over him the night of our engagement). We are so excited to spend our special day with all of you and to continue growing as a family and as a team! One love.
