Brody and Emma's love story began in the summer of 2020. The couple met through mutual friends and Brody's brother, Tyson. They quickly began dating and the rest is history. Both graduated from Detroit Lakes High School, Brody in 2021 and Emma in 2022. Brody began attending NDSU, and Emma shortly followed. After graduating from NDSU in 2024, Brody moved out to Pingree, ND for work, and after Emma graduated in 2025, she moved out there as well. In July 2025, on their 5-year anniversary trip, Brody asked Emma to spend forever with him, to which she said YES!!! Brody and Emma are so excited for their big day and can not wait to celebrate their love with each and every one of you!

To help kill time before we say "I do", there are several activities around town that can be fun for the whole family or just to get away for a little bit! - Visit the Shady Hollow Flea market!- Go on an adventure through the town with Thomas Dambos' troll hunt! Great for kids but some trail walking may be necessary to reach the trolls.- Shop til you drop in downtown Detroit Lakes! Visit some of Emma's favorite shops including Gliks, the Nines, Lit, Bluebird books, and many more.- Have a brew at DLs very own brewery, Bucks Mill Brewing!- Soak up the sun along the beach of Big Detroit!- Visit the Trowbridge zoo to feed the elk, pet the goats, watch the alligators, and so much more!
