It all started Freshman year of college, in the cafeteria at University of Sioux Falls. It was an 80 degree summer day, Emma had just come from soccer practice, and was dumping her food next to Teddy. Our first conversation went something like this:

Teddy: "Why are you shivering?"

Emma: "Because my sweat is drying."

That romantic exchange was the last words we spoke to each other for a few months, until spring semester. One of Teddy's friends posted a picture of Emma on his Snapchat Story, and tagged her. Teddy added Emma, and snapped her the next day with a selfie saying "Hey Emma". He eventually asked her out to Texas Roadhouse, and the rest is history. (Including getting banned from each other's dorms.)

Teddy transferred to the University of Minnesota after our Sophomore year of college. After surviving two years of long distance, we were back in Minneapolis together. We moved in together, got Sully, and eventually bought our home. To think we get to hang out together for the rest of our lives is so exciting, and Emma is so grateful Teddy asked why she was shivering that day in 2015.
