Nick and Emma’s love story started on the volleyball court, though not as teammates. They were always on opposite sides, competing fiercely in local leagues. But what began as a friendly rivalry eventually turned into something much deeper, as each began to fall for the other’s competitive spirit, passion, and drive. After matches, they would chat for hours. They talked about the game, life, and everything in between. Through these long conversations, they realized they shared more than just a love for volleyball.

As they spent more time together, their connection grew, and they found themselves falling in love. The proposal came a couple years later at the McMenamins Kennedy School. It was there, in the company of those closest to them, that Nick asked Emma to be his partner in life. Nick and Emma are excited to celebrate their love with the people who helped bring them together and to begin this next chapter, hand in hand, as partners in life.
