Where should we stay in Augusta?

We recommend booking a room at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in North Augusta, SC under our room block for discounted group rate.

What is the parking situation?

You may park in the lot across from First Presbyterian Church on Telfair Street or in the Augusta City Hall lot across the street from the Old Medical College.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Please arrive by 4:30PM. The church would like guests to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of our ceremony.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

The ceremony will take place in our church, and they kindly request no flash photography in the sanctuary. We hired an amazing photographer who will capture all the special moments of our ceremony. Please take all the pictures you would like following the service!

How will I get from the ceremony to the reception?

The church and Old Medical College are right next door to each other! Less than 2 min walk from the church to the reception venue.

What is the wedding attire?

Black tie optional. For men, they may wear a tuxedo or a nice dark suit with a shirt and tie. Women may wear a floor-length evening gown, knee-length cocktail dress, or dressy separates.

Will the wedding be held indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and reception will mostly be indoors. There will be a cocktail hour outside in the front lawn following the ceremony. Keep in mind that the weather in Augusta in September can still be quite warm with highs in the 80s.

Will there be an open bar?

Of course! Beer, wine, champagne for a toast, and a selection of liquor and signature drinks will all be available.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

We will serve appetizers with cocktail hour followed by a buffet with a selection of meat, fish, salad, and sides.

How should I RSVP?

We are doing mail-in RSVP. Return your RSVP cards by August 7th, 2024.

Can I bring a plus one?

While we would love to celebrate with everyone, we do have to keep our guest count to a limit. We will indicate on your invitation if you may bring an additional guest.

Will last names be changing after the wedding?

Yes, duh!
