Dunton Packing List

Besides your usual list, here are some things that you will want to bring along! At the time of writing, the weather for the day of the wedding looks like a high of 47º and a low of 27º but could change over the next few days. Check out the weather tab for the most up to date and accurate forecast!

Skincare

It will be dry, cold, high elevation, and you’ll be soaking in the springs. Make sure to bring your best moisturizers.

Bathing suit(s)

Trust us, you will want to be in the springs. The water has a high mineral content, so bring a suit that you don’t mind if the color changes.

Winter Warmers

Bring gloves, hats, and a scarf to help layer on for warmth.

Tights

As the wedding will be outside, consider wearing tights under your dress. Here are some fleece-lined pairs from Amazon.

Layers

Bring clothing that you can easily add or remove. Colorado temperatures are greatly impacted by the sun, so if it’s 30 and sunny, it might feel closer to 50. If it’s 50 and cloudy, it might feel closer to 30!

Big Coats

Afraid of being caught in a big coat and a nice dress? Don’t be! It’s Colorado!

Friday Night

Western Wear! Lean in as much or as little as you want.

Saturday Free Time

Dress active or cozy, depending on the activity. If you are going out into the mountains, bring warm wool socks!

Saturday Ceremony

Dress nice, but be prepared for the cold! Women- dresses, jumpsuits, and pantsuits are welcome. Men- suits or slacks and sports coats and ties.

Sunday Day

Mountain comfort! Sweaters, leggings, etc are encouraged.

Sunday Evening- Family Dinner

“Casual Chic”- think sweaters and jeans or comfortable dresses.

Shoes

If you’re planning to get into the mountains, bring hiking boots! Due to the wedding being outside and the paths at Dunton being unpaved, if you are planning on wearing heels, consider a chunkier heel.
