I don't remember ever meeting Evan. He was just always around as my best friends older cousin. I saw him at karate, birthday parties, and hanging out on the boat. He was just always a distant part of my life—someone I knew but not someone I talked to often.

If you talk to Evan, he will tell you he waited years to ask me out, constantly asking for Logan's approval, and when he agreed, I ghosted him. I don't remember that, so its not true. I do know, if it wasn’t for Evan posting a picture of Logan's long, crazy hair on his story, we would not have started talking again.

To say I was nervous for the first date would be an understatement. He was, after all, my best friends older cousin. It would have been so awkward if it didn't go well (good thing it did). Since that first date, we have been inseparable. I partly have Logan to thank, as he is the bridge that connects the two of us. We wouldn't be here today without him.
