Alex and Emma met the old (new) fashioned way...online! When Alex matched with Emma in 2020, he was interested in her recent trip to Ireland, asking all the questions on her favorite trip. Alex then replied "It sounds like your trip to Ireland was cool...you know what would also be cool? If you went out to dinner with me." The rest was history!

During their first date to Lewis & Clarks on Main Street St. Charles, they connected and learned about each other, their families, and their lives. Continuing on to their second date to First Watch, they decided they didn't want to say good-bye yet so they stopped by REI where they both realized they love the outdoors and all the hobbies associated.

Neither of them knew this was the beginning of the rest of their lives. 6 month later, they moved into a loft in Lafayette Square and enjoyed the city life together for the next 2 years, cheering on their favorite sports teams, visiting their favorite breweries, and growing together. Lafayette Square holds a special place in their hearts, as Lafayette Park is where Alex decided to get down on one knee.

Now in St. Peter's with their dog Brooklyn and cat Finnegan, they are enjoying the engaged life and are excited about the future.
