We first crossed paths on the first day of 8th grade when Kasey had just moved to Fair Lawn and was the new kid. We shared the same first-period class, and the moment Emma saw him walk in, she knew she had to strike up a conversation. Fast forward to sophomore year, after a few years of being friends, we started dating and spent about six months together.

Five years later, Emma decided to reach out to Kasey on Instagram to see how he was doing. That message led to Kasey asking her out to dinner to catch up. From that night on, we became inseparable and quickly discovered our shared love for the beach, which became our favorite place to spend time together.

August 11, 2017 – Under the rock in the middle was a note that read, "Will you be my girlfriend?"

We both share a love for the beach and take every chance we get to visit; you'll often find us at the shore, no matter the season. We've always dreamed of having our first home by the beach and have talked about getting married there someday.

We fell in love with exploring new destinations and decided to start saving so we could travel more. Some of our favorite places we've visited include Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Venice and Mexico!

In 2022, we adopted our Goldendoodle, Hudson — you may know him as @hudsondoodlebear on Instagram! (Emma is still working on convincing Kasey to get another...)
