The proposal was perfectly simple which is all Ena ever asked for. Exact words were, "if there's a lot of people staring at me- I will collapse in fear." Rob is a VERY good listener. So good, that he even went to a jeweler that Ena "hinted" that she loved (she's as subtle as fireworks). He designed her dream ring with Lauren B herself and it's everything Ena ever dreamed of.

The Saturday morning before Memorial Day weekend, Rob REALLY wanted to take Hokie for a walk before they drove to his parent's house in MD. Ena kinda rolled with it even though the usual plan before a trip is someone runs the dog out while the other person get the bags ready for the road trip and makes sure everything is packed. Rob walked Ena & Hokie down to the Colgate clock with the most perfect view of NYC. He propose right there at 8am and when he popped the big question, Ena's response was, "of course I will!" (that's not a detail that was remembered until live photos were looked at). Where did we get live photos you ask? WELL, Mr. Doesn't really plan (Rob), planned this to perfection. He asked his friend, Dan, to come over to the Colgate clock that morning from NYC to take photos of the entire proposal! Hokie almost gave it away because when he saw his uncle Dan, he immediately started tugging Ena (who was holding him). But thankfully, his attempts at sabotage were not successful.

After the proposal, Rob again perfectly planned his timing as both families got together for a mini engagement party at Rob's parents house. That same weekend, celebrations occurred with multiple groups of friends and it was so much love and excitement!
