Our Wedding

Eric and Savannah met at the “Harvard of the West” (Chico State University) on a memorable Wine Wednesday. Eric spotted Savannah walking into a friend’s apartment and knew he had to meet her. A quick introduction, some lighthearted persuasion, and a few glasses of wine later, he secured an 8:00 am hike-date for the next morning. It was the first of many "adventure dates" to come!Finishing college and new jobs then led to a year and a half long distance relationship which only strengthened their love.Adventure Dates brought them to Hawaii, Ireland, Joshua Tree, Yosemite, South Carolina, San Diego, Tahoe, and even a goat farm in Oregon.Eric proposed on the Stanislaus River, a place that holds some of their favorite memories.Whether camping under the stars, playing in oceans, rivers and lakes, discovering quirky eateries or staying in together with Maple (sweet but very naughty bernadoodle), life is always better side-by-side.Eric’s easygoing, thoughtful nature combined with Savannah’s spicy adventurous spirit has turned a chance meeting into a lasting, loving partnership — and now they’re ready to begin their greatest adventure yet: choosing each other, forever.

Travel Requirements

We invite our guests to dress in summer formal attire to celebrate with us. Think light, elegant, and seasonally inspired—pastels and florals are highly encouraged for a soft, romantic feel. Dresses, midi or maxi lengths. For men, suits are requested, and any color is welcome to match the joyful tone of the day.As our celebration will be in Ireland, we kindly recommend bringing a coat or jacket to stay comfortable, as weather is unpredictable.

Dress Code

Our lovely venue offers several countryside and city accommodations. We recommend checking these out as well as Armagh City Hotel (this is not part of our venue), which offers a more modern and central stay. We highly encourage to stick with the options listed below as they are close to the venue, attractions, and easy stops for buses/taxis. If you plan to book with one of the accommodations linked to our venue, best way to book is through emailing and letting them know you're with the wedding. You will receive a reduced rate. Mone Family Travel Tips: 1. FlightsThe Mone family typically travels round‑trip with Aer Lingus, which often offers reasonably priced direct flights from most U.S. major airports. We recommend putting Google Flight Trackers for the time you are wanting to travel to find the best deals. Keep in mind for when your planning your arrival that it is about a 12 hour flight and there is an 8 hour time difference so if you leave California say Monday, you will arrive in Ireland Tuesday. 2. AccommodationsWe highly recommend looking at our accommodations page for where to stay and choosing one of the listed. These will be the most affordable but also in the best locations to get around and explore. We know these accommodations and believe they are trustworthy and reliable. 3. Dublin vs. BelfastFlying round‑trip into Dublin usually provides more flight options and is often slightly less expensive than flying directly into Belfast. 4. Traveling Beyond IrelandIf you plan to travel outside of Ireland during your trip, the most cost‑effective option is still to book a round‑trip flight from the U.S. to Dublin. Dublin can serve as a great home base, and you can catch the return leg of your original flight when heading back to the States. 5. Getting Around Northern IrelandRoads in Northern Ireland can be narrow and winding, and driving is on the left side of the road. Because of this, we recommend renting a car only if you feel comfortable driving in these conditions. Otherwise, taxis, private transfers, and public transportation are great alternatives, especially around County Armagh.

We recommend exploring all of Ireland, not just Armagh. There are many amazing destinations that can be accessed by just a short drive or bus/train ride. Feel free to venture off on your own and make the best of your time in this beautiful country.
