Even though Ashley taught Alice in second grade, due to covid and all the shut downs of 2020, it took 3 more years for Eric and Ashley to finally meet in person. And when they did, it all came together seamlessly.

Thankfully, they had some pretty great mutual friends that suggested an introduction. The six of them had dinner, Eric and Ashley made a connection, and it was pretty perfect. After that, they were inseparable. Within three months, they were in love and shared those words. This was this first time that Ashley was found so often with a person she cared for and so connected and open. That was the first of many signs of what was meant to be.

Their families were pretty excited to see how well the two were matched. His girls quickly welcomed Ashley into their world. Ashley's family had never seen her so happy and were so excited to have Eric join the crew with his beautiful girls and helpful hands. He seemed to fit right in.

Within eleven months they were watching a sunrise and engaged. And now within 15 months, they will be married! Everything happens for a reason. Time and patience has finally brought them together, and they have now lost all of their patience to become one and celebrate with those they love and have been there to experience a beautiful year!
