Nora and I grew up on the same street. She is like a sister to me. Some of my favourite memories from our childhood include making igloos and snow forts on the boulevard, swimming in her backyard, skating on my dad's ice rink, tobogganing at the golf course, and climbing the magnolia tree. She has recently graduated from Laurier University and is working in Waterloo. Nora has always been there for me during all of life's transitions and I am lucky to have her as my maid of honor!

Eric's older brother

Reid is my favourite younger brother. Throughout our childhood, we always liked telling people we were twins, and using things like our matching darwinian tipped ears or 5th wisdom tooth as evidence. I always refer to Reid as my little brother, which makes it crazy to think that he is already in his last year of mechanical engineering at McGill.Even though he's my younger brother, sometimes he is the one helping me, for example by encouraging me to take more risks going down down the bumps or through the trees when we're snowboarding.

Charlie is my favourite middle brother. He is currently working as a researcher in England. I always enjoy his visits home at Christmas and in the summer. This past year, I visited him at his flat in London. I really enjoyed the London Eye, going to the theatre, and walking along the canal, but my favourite part was spending time with Charlie and meeting all of his wonderful friends.He is creative and compassionate, and I continue to look up to him.

Teddy is my favourite oldest brother. He is currently working as a director. He directs most of his plays in Toronto, but has also worked as far away as Germany. I always knew he was a hard worker, but it was amazing to really see him in action preparing for a performance while I was living with him last year. I am so happy I had that one-month paediatric rotation in Toronto, because it gave me more time to spend with my brother.

I met Sarah in grade 9 at KCI. She has been an incredibly supportive friend, and we have continued to stay close throughout the years. For three of those years we were roommates in undergrad at McGill. My favourite places that we went to in Montreal were Juliette et Chocolat and the Distillerie. This summer, we took a chalk paint course together and then refinished my bathroom mirror and vanity. I am fortunate to have such a generous friend in my life.Sarah has just started law school in London, England, and I miss her like crazy.

I have been friends with Katie since grade 9 at KCI. She is creative, passionate, and adds energy to every group she joins. When other people were going to high school parties, I went to sleep-overs at Katie's house which involved staying up late eating candy and watching Sex and the City. If I could go back, I wouldn't change a thing.Katie is currently doing her PhD at University of Maryland. I always look forward to seeing her at Christmas and holidays.

I have been friends with Sophie for 9 years, ever since we were roommates together in Switzerland. We had an amazing time together there eating fondue and raclette, drinking wine, and going skiing. She is an incredibly thoughtful, kind-hearted friend.I am so proud of Sophie for graduating from Ottawa Law School and very happy for her recent engagement to Linden.
