What is the dress code?

We request that guests wear formal attire. When in doubt, it's better to be slightly overdressed than underdressed!

When should I arrive for the ceremony?

Please arrive at least 15 minutes or so before the official ceremony start time so you may get settled before the proceedings.

Where will the ceremony take place at Thacher State Park?

The ceremony will take place at Glen Doone Pavilion. Please see the image below with a yellow star next to the pavillion our ceremony will be held at:

Is there parking at Thacher State Park?

Yes, there are plenty of parking spots for everyone.

Is this is an unplugged ceremony?

Yes, please refrain from taking any photos or videos during our ceremony as we paid a photographer to give us beautiful photos to remember our special day.

How far is the drive from Thacher State Park to Frog Alley Brewing Co.?

The drive is about 30 minutes. We encourage carpooling, if possible, for our guests.

Is there parking at Frog Alley Brewing Co.?

Yes but it’s limited. If there are no parking spots available in the lots listed, you will need to park on the streets, use a nearby parking garage (such as Broadway Parking Garage), or the parking lots at Schenectady County Community College. Please see below a reference photo from Frog Alley regarding what parking lots are available to patrons:

Where at Frog Alley Brewing Co. is the wedding reception?

The reception will begin with a cocktail hour in the Lower Taproom at Frog Alley.

1) S Church Street (Lots #1-4/Lower Taproom Entrance marker in above photo) - you should see the entrance to Frog Alley from the parking lot and be able to enter directly into the Lower Taproom.

2) State Street (Main Taproom Entrance marker in above photo) - if you enter through Frog Alley's main entrance and follow the back wall and veer left, you should find a set of stairs that lead down to the Lower Taproom.

Please feel free to ask the employees who work there where to go if you are confused, or follow the crowd of other wedding attendees!

What is the food and drinks set-up?

Dinner will be a buffet with a variety of selections to choose from. We have tried to accommodate our friends and family who we know have dietary restrictions so no one goes hungry. As for drinks, we will have an open bar for adults and regular beverages for those who do not drink or are underage. There will also be a champagne toast to celebrate our marriage sometime during the evening, along with a dessert buffet.
