Q + A

What time should I arrive?

Guest arrival begins at noon! Please arrive by noon, and the ceremony will begin shortly thereafter. There will be parking attendants on site to help you park and find your way to the ceremony sites, and mulled wine and warmed cider will be available for your enjoyment as you get ready to be a part of our marriage.

What is the address of the venue?

Hotel du Village- 2535 River Rd, New Hope, PA 18938

Where is the ceremony?

The ceremony will be hosted at Hotel du Village. In fact, the entire event (Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception) are all hosted within this venue, so come ready to spend the day in this beautiful space!

Where should I sit during the ceremony?

Please sit anywhere you would like! The goal of a wedding is to unify two families into one, so please feel free to sit on either side at the ceremony! After all, we are all family!

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes! the venue is all on the ground level and fully wheelchair accessible! If you need assistance, we will have staff on site to help you out! The Valet's will direct all guests to the ceremony, and be present to assist anyone who may need help getting out of their vehicles.

How do I RSVP?

You can RSVP by clicking on the RSVP tab on this web page! Once there, you will be prompted to fill in your name (as it appears on the invitation). You can then RSVP yes (or no if you can't make it) for you and your entire party! That's all you have to do!

When do I need to RSVP by?

We are asking that you RSVP no later than December 1st 2024.

Why does my RSVP not ask about my dinner selection?

Dinner will be served like you are at a restaurant! We will have a pre-select menu and our serving staff will be around to take each person's order. If you have any dietary restrictions, you can let the serving staff know, and they will help make the best choice for your meal! To ensure that the kitchen is prepared for everyone, though, we ask that you let us know off any major allergies while you RSVP (there is a prompt while you are filling out the RSVPs)

Can I bring my kids?

While we love your entire family, the wedding is an adults-only affair. We ask that only those listed on the invitation attend the event.

Can I bring a plus one?

We would love to celebrate with everyone, but due to limitations in space, we ask that only those people listed on the invitations attend the event.

What do I do if I can’t make it?

We will really miss you! Please RSVP that you cannot make it, and we will schedule a little get together after the wedding so we can still celebrate with you!

Will you be serving alcohol?

Yes! There will be an open bar with an array of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks! If you plan to share a drink with us, please be sure to bring your ID with you.

What if I have a dietary requirement?

We know dietary requirements come in a lot of different forms! Please rest assured that we have talked extensively with our catering team to be sure to accommodate everyone's dietary needs! Dinner will be served like you're at a restaurant. You will order from a pre-select menu, and the chefs will take into account any dietary restrictions when preparing your meals.

Where should I sit during the reception?

There will be assigned seating for dinner. We have tried our hardest to make sure that you are seated with folks that you would like to be with! Please refer to the seating chart available at cocktail hour to find out where to sit!

Is there a theme?

We fell in love with the french countryside on the trip where we got engaged, and we would love to bring that vibrance and beauty to our wedding! Our venue, Hotel du Village feels like it was plucked right from one of the little cities we visited (places like Chartres, Colmar, and Riquewihr). We also want to keep things simple and enjoy the day!

What should I wear?

The dress code is formal/ cocktail attire. We would love to see everyone all dressed up for this event and ready to dance!

Can I take photos?

Yes, but... We love that you want to commemorate the big day with picture, but we ask that you refrain from taking them during the ceremony. We have hired a photographer to capture these big moments, and would love to have all of our friends and family totally present in those moments. That being said, as soon as cocktail hour starts, phones are welcome! We would love it if you took pictures, and shared them with us! That way we get to see your perspective on the big day too!

Where can I find the photos afterward?

Once our photographers are all done with their finishing touches on photos, we will be sure to share them with everyone!

Do you have a gift registry?

Yes! While a gift is not nessasary, you can find our registry on the "registry" tab of this website.

Who should I contact if I have questions about the wedding?

Feel free to contact Bria ((215)-620-5261), up and until the big day! She's got all the answers! But, on the day, please let the Bride-to-be get ready in peace. You are welcome to contact one of the parents of the bride or the bridal party if you have last-minute questions!
