Our Wedding

Technically, Eric and Amelia were introduced (thanks Aunt Laura) at a golf tournament fundraiser in the summer of 2020. Amelia was working the registration table that day, and Eric was, well, playing golf. Amelia admits she doesnt remember the introduction that well, and Eric only remembers meeting a cute redhead. Their paths didnt cross again until the summer of 2023, at Erics brothers wedding, where Amelia was working the event and Eric was, well, not playing golf. Amelia also admits to not recognizing Eric until after yelling at him for going behind the bar. And Eric, after defending himself that he was helping clean up a water spill, yelled after her Is there another golf tournament this year?!. It was then that Amelia placed him and after some liquid courage later on that night, Eric officially introduced himself. He also found himself walking back through the building to get to his car after the afterparty, where Amelia was about to leave, and had just enough courage left to ask for her number. The rest is pretty much history. They got ice cream the same weekend, played A LOT of pickleball that summer, and fast forward a little over a year later, Eric proposed in the same exact spot where he introduced himself, which was coincidentally the same spot he asked for her number. Our first dance will be in that same spot, in the Belair at Zoes ❤️
