Growing up as Marietta's younger sister, there's nobody who knows her more closely. She is Marietta's oldest and closet friend, sounding board, and partner-in-crime.

One of Marietta's roommates senior year, and the heart of the college friend group who introduced everyone to each other. 

Misha Seagull

One of Marietta's roommates senior year who quickly became a close friend and confident. She's a phenomenal hostess and planner, keeping everyone well-fed and organized for our trips, graduation, and wedding schemes.

One of Marietta's best friends from high school, Theele is brilliant, hardworking, and supportive. Together, they crushed neg teams in debate and science olympiad.

One of Marietta's best friends from high school, Sarina is funny, outgoing, and was quick to befriend the Sisca Sisters at 2nd lunch and connect over fandoms.

A welcoming upperclassman at Lehigh, Ben was one of our first friends at the Wilbur Powerhouse makerspace where he and Eric invented gadgets together. 

Benjamin Alexander Metz the Awesome

Marietta's awesome younger brother. He is an multi-talented athlete and musician and is training to be a firefighter and EMT in Prince George County, MD.

Eric's childhood friend from Boy Scouts, they share many memories from camping, sharing the late bus, and making their Eagle ranks together.

One of Eric's creative friends from Wilbur Powerhouse Makerspace, Eric and Cameron bonded over troubleshooting the plane and wrangling the members of the aerospace club. 

Cameron Osborne

Eric's friend from Lehigh's Material Science and Engineering program. Henry is friendly, intelligent, and adventurous. They completed their capstone project together and he now studies at MIT when he'd not backpacking. 

Henry Price

Marietta's youngest sister and bunkmate at home, she is an energetic kid who loves playing board games and hiding stuffed animal stowaways in her older sister's luggage. They love talking about books and gardening together.

Wedding Party

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors? 

The wedding and the reception will both be indoors, but there may be some outdoors pictures on the Lehigh campus or the nearby historic Bethlehem area.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Our event will be semiformal. Think floor or ankle length gowns, suits and ties, and dressy pantsuits. Please avoid wearing white.

What kind of food will be served? 

We'll have passed hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a plated meal at the reception. Please inform us with your RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions and we will communicate that to the culinary staff to make sure you are accomodated!

Are there any other wedding events I should plan for? 

Unless you've been specifically contacted about the rehearsal dinner, there's no other wedding events you should plan for. Please check out the "Things to Do" page for other fun Bethlehem/Allentown activities.

Ceremony: Holy Infancy Church

312 East Fourth Street Bethlehem, PA 18015 This historic parish is in urban South Side Bethlehem and does not have on-site parking. The best location for parking is the lot #2 on Mechanic Street along the Greenway, which can also be accessed from Webster St. and Polk Sr. This lot is $1 per hour and a block away from the church. The other closest lost is on 4th and Buchanan Street, which is 2 blocks from the church. If you have mobility issues, please have someone drop you off at the back of the church where there is a handicap entrance, and then park your vehicle.

Reception: Historic Hotel Bethlehem

Hotel Bethlehem, 437 Main St, Bethlehem, PA 18018 Unfortunately we were surprised on Monday June 9th by the contents of the following email. Please be aware of the following changes to the parking situation at the reception venue: The hotel parking deck will be undergoing maintenance and renovation during your stay and will therefore be unavailable for parking. We will be offering COMPLIMENTARY 24-hour V alet Parking Service for overnight hotel guests only. Please pull into the hotel driveway and our bellhops and valet will be waiting to assist you with your luggage and vehicle. (For all other visitors) If you would like to self-park, they will direct you to our off-site parking, and we are happy to provide complimentary shuttle to — and from — that parking lot. You may also choose to walk from the off-site parking , which is approximately 3 – 5 minutes away from our Hotel.&nbsp; If you would like to be shuttled from the lot upon return trips to the Hotel during this time, please see the bellhop on the side entrance to inform them of your return to the lot.&nbsp; If you are returning to the hotel after midnight and self-park, please call (610) 625-5000 and advise us that you are in the lot and request a shuttle.&nbsp; Unfortunately, Charging stations (EVSE) will be unavailable through this time.All-day visitors will be directed to our offsite parking lot with a complimentary shuttle (0.2 miles away from the Hotel). Travel

Down the street from the Hotel Bethlehem, this is one of the oldest bookstores in America. Nowadays, it's run by Moravian University, and it's nestled between a bunch of other cute shops and restaurants on Main Street in the historic district!

Moravian Book Shop

This museum is close to the Steelstacks - the old manufacturing site of Bethlehem Steel. It's a fascinating walk though American industrial history, not only steel but also textile, printing, and other technologies. While you're here, walk on the raised platform next to the plant and join a tour to learn about the history of the South Side.

National Museum of Industrial History

The historical domain of the Bethlehem Steel executives overseing their empire, and old chemical engineering building on mountaintop campus where Marietta spent most of her time during school. You can reach the observation tower by turning left through the front doors and taking the elevator to the Top floor to see the prettiest views of campus and the Lehigh valley. If you're lucky, you might even catch some bald eagles or vultures gliding at eye level.

Iacocca Conference Center

This is a lovely state park where the friend group went hiking together - about 20 minutes outside South Side. There's a lake and managable trails which you can view on the state parks website.

Nockamixon State Park

A good place to grab dinner and enjoy the Bethlehem post-industrial aesthetic. I don't like beer but I've heard it's good too.
