I worked at the cafe she worked at the gift shop. I knew from her starting there she was cute and I needed to talk to her and learn about her life. She happened to think I was cute as well and found every reason to come and ask for mayo or a coffee or just grab a straw. I knew the real reason was to come and talk to me or show off her hair or new glasses!

later that month I took my lunch break with her, which wasn’t anything new, she had a new pen with a touch screen eraser. Amy wanted to “try it out” and “accidentally” called herself from my phone then saying “whoops now you have my phone number.” Ever since that day we have texted back and forth growing our relationship.

We both had some things to deal with before we got into a committed relationship and we both were very open with that. The communication she brought to the table was unparalleled to anyone I’ve talked to before and was an awesome thing I knew I had to lock down.

December, 10, 2019, Amy called me and wanted to come over. This was the day. I was going to ask this beautiful girl to be my girlfriend!

Amy came over with a beautiful smile and hair all braided. I had all the butterflies and asked her in a cheesy way if she would like to be my GIRLFRIEND!

she said yes of course!

fast forward 4 years we have so many amazing stories and saying only we know and laugh too. We are flying to Costa Rica (thank you mom and dad)! Four nights and five days of beach and relaxing and I had my brother bring this really nice diamond I picked out just in case.

come to day 3 Amy is getting very nosy and wants to know my plan. I tell her “let’s just wing it. We don’t have to have a plan”. Knowing I had the best 4 hours all planed out to a T.

We take a beautiful walk to the beach club, sit down for a fancy dinner on the beach. She orders a fruity gin drink, I’m too nervous to think straight, I’ll have water. We then get the best sushi I’ve ever had! Me thinking **Ok sunset at 745 walk for 8 min to the spot I picked, she is so beautiful do you think she knows? Act natural**.

we wrap up dinner and take a sunset walk on the beach. I see my spot, I have camera and videographer (thanks dad and Ryan). I take a little box out of my pocket…her eyes light up….biggest smile I’ve ever see on her….i tell her how much I love her and why I want to marry her..I take a knee..and ask her the most beautiful person I had ever seen.. Will You Marry Me?
