Erica and Tyler had been acquaintances for many years before she finally put the moves on him. Motivation, you ask? Was it the white claws? Was it his vulnerable position? Eyes closed, ready for his face to be painted? That was all he asked for, after all. Little did he know, Erica had other plans. Those juicy lips were calling to her.

It was Halloween 2022. The black lit basement of a party. Erica was caught up face painting. Tyler had patiently awaited his turn for Erica's talents to help recover a botched face-painting job. The basement had been full and bustling.

Finally, it was his turn. He stood in front of her with eyes closed.. and just like that, the basement had suddenly emptied. It was just the two of them. He looked so handsome and unsuspecting. She'd always had a micro-crush on Tyler, but never thought to act upon it. She loved his authenticity, his easy-going nature, his sincerity, how comfortable he was to be around. He was just.. so cool.

This was her moment! She went for it and planted a tender, sweet smooch upon his lips.

Shocked, he opened his eyes. Did she really just kiss me? What does this mean? Should I kiss her back? Tyler's mind raced. What now?

Realizing that she had acted without consent, Erica apologized.. but Tyler was far from upset. Just then, as suddenly as it had emptied, the basement was filled and bustling once more. The moment had passed.

But the moment never passed from Tyler's mind. He had always thought Erica was fun and attractive, and most definitely WAY out of his league. But.. she had kissed him.

Deciding to take a chance, he took the initiative to ask Erica for her number via Facebook Messenger, and subsequently secured a date.

The rest, as they say, is history.
