Our Story

As&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;as&nbsp;this&nbsp;day&nbsp;is,&nbsp;it's&nbsp;also&nbsp;painful&nbsp;because&nbsp;one&nbsp;the&nbsp;most&nbsp;beautiful,&nbsp;influential&nbsp;people&nbsp;that&nbsp;was&nbsp;apart&nbsp;of&nbsp;my&nbsp;life&nbsp;is&nbsp;not&nbsp;here&nbsp;to&nbsp;witness&nbsp;this&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;occasion.&nbsp;My&nbsp;mother,&nbsp;Edna&nbsp;Mae&nbsp;Woodberry&nbsp;passed&nbsp;away&nbsp;August&nbsp;21,&nbsp;2021.&nbsp;&nbsp;One&nbsp;conversation&nbsp;we&nbsp;had&nbsp;a&nbsp;few&nbsp;months&nbsp;before&nbsp;her&nbsp;passing&nbsp;was&nbsp;one&nbsp;I'll&nbsp;always&nbsp;remember.&nbsp;She&nbsp;said,&nbsp;"Son&nbsp;dying&nbsp;is&nbsp;easy,&nbsp;it's&nbsp;living&nbsp;that&nbsp;is&nbsp;hard."&nbsp;&nbsp;I&nbsp;love&nbsp;you&nbsp;mama&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;miss&nbsp;you.

The Matriarch of My Family

This&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;young&nbsp;lady&nbsp;is&nbsp;Rae'Dawn&nbsp;Woodberry.&nbsp;She&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;oldest&nbsp;of&nbsp;my&nbsp;two&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;daughters.&nbsp;She&nbsp;has&nbsp;set&nbsp;a&nbsp;great&nbsp;example&nbsp;for&nbsp;my&nbsp;youngest&nbsp;and&nbsp;it&nbsp;just&nbsp;fills&nbsp;me&nbsp;up&nbsp;with&nbsp;joy&nbsp;to&nbsp;see&nbsp;her&nbsp;thriving&nbsp;in&nbsp;life.&nbsp;&nbsp;Our&nbsp;Special&nbsp;day&nbsp;is&nbsp;not&nbsp;complete&nbsp;without&nbsp;her.

My Beautiful Daughter

This&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;young&nbsp;lady&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;youngest&nbsp;of&nbsp;&nbsp;my&nbsp;two&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;daughters.&nbsp;Her&nbsp;name&nbsp;is&nbsp;Jibriah&nbsp;Woodberry&nbsp;and&nbsp;I'm&nbsp;so&nbsp;proud&nbsp;of&nbsp;her.&nbsp;&nbsp;Our&nbsp;special&nbsp;day&nbsp;would&nbsp;not&nbsp;be&nbsp;complete&nbsp;without&nbsp;her.

My Beautiful Daughter.

Some&nbsp;of&nbsp;you&nbsp;may&nbsp;or&nbsp;may&nbsp;not&nbsp;know&nbsp;this,&nbsp;but&nbsp;in&nbsp;2023&nbsp;I&nbsp;lost&nbsp;two&nbsp;very&nbsp;important&nbsp;family&nbsp;members.&nbsp;My&nbsp;oldest&nbsp;sister,&nbsp;Reeta&nbsp;Tyson&nbsp;,&nbsp;and&nbsp;my&nbsp;next&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;oldest&nbsp;brother,&nbsp;John&nbsp;Woodberry.&nbsp;Both&nbsp;whom&nbsp;passed&nbsp;away&nbsp;exactly&nbsp;3O&nbsp;days&nbsp;apart&nbsp;from&nbsp;each&nbsp;other.&nbsp;&nbsp;While&nbsp;they&nbsp;may&nbsp;not&nbsp;be&nbsp;here&nbsp;to&nbsp;see&nbsp;our&nbsp;special&nbsp;day,&nbsp;I&nbsp;know&nbsp;that&nbsp;my&nbsp;brother&nbsp;is&nbsp;in&nbsp;heaven&nbsp;saying&nbsp;"Do&nbsp;ya&nbsp;thang&nbsp;P"&nbsp;and&nbsp;my&nbsp;sister&nbsp;is&nbsp;in&nbsp;heaven&nbsp;saying&nbsp;"Alright&nbsp;now&nbsp;lil&nbsp;brother!"&nbsp;I&nbsp;love&nbsp;y'all&nbsp;&&nbsp;miss&nbsp;you&nbsp;both.
