Erica and Benjamin have been friends well before they started dating. Sometimes its funny to think who really introduced them. Erica's mom and Benjamin's older brother are most likely the ones. Nothing came of it at the time. Erica was in college and focused on getting her degree to reach her dream of becoming a teacher. Benjamin was focused on baseball.

Years went by before Erica and Ben were reconnected. Erica moved back home from college in 2016. She started slowly spending time with her younger brother and his best friend, Ben. Every Saturday was for the boys and Erica. They would get food and play games.

In the summer of 2021, Ben started asking Erica to spend time with him outside of the Saturdays. Erica thought nothing of it. It was nice to spend time with a good friend. Ben ended up coming to spend time with Erica's other friends outside of the Saturday boy group. It was then that one of Erica's friends pointed out that they were probably dating.

Erica's and Ben's friendship blossomed into a loving relationship filled with jokes, food, and games. On June 26, 2022 Ben surprised Erica in Disney World while she was there with her family. He asked her to marry her which she replied, "What are you doing here?" and obviously, "Yes!"
