We really love kids. However, due to space and financial limitations, we can only host those individuals who received an invitation addressed directly to them. We hope that you can enjoy a night off with us!

We absolutely love all dogs and will have our own as part of the wedding. However, we have limited space in the venue's kennel area and want all fur babies to be able to stay safe. That being said, we kindly request that you please leave your pups at home (or at the pet-friendly hotel - check out our block of rooms!). Get to know the 3 dogs that will be on the mountain with us - Lucy, Louie, and Toby - on our bridal party page.

We want you above all to be comfortable at our wedding! The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/dressy casual. Our wedding will be very nature-inspired and rustic. We do recommend you wearing comfortable shoes! Since we will be on top of a mountain, most of the walking surfaces are nature inspired. High heels might be a challenge on the gravel parking lot, crusher run driveway and grass lawns. And please bring warm layers! It can get cool at night on the mountain top, even for June!

Our hope is that our ceremony can be held outdoors. There will be dancing and food indoors for the reception, but many activities and views to enjoy outdoors throughout the entire evening. If we do have rain, Silver Hearth Lodge has a flawless rain plan and we will be able to have the entire event moved indoors within minutes so that the party can continue!

Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms with Holiday Inn Tanglewood, less than 10 miles away. You can call and ask them for the Tracy and DeSousa block of rooms. They are also pet-friendly if you're traveling with your furry friends! They charge a $50 pet fee and you are still able to reserve within our block. Book before May 12th to receive the group rate.

Our wedding theme will be very rustic and natural! Our color palette is olive green for the bridal party with gold and neutral accents. We recommend comfortable, flowy sundresses as well as light dress shirts and lightweight slacks - just remember your warm layers and comfy shoes!

Ceremony starts at 5pm, so allow yourself some extra time to get seated!

We will be having an unplugged ceremony so we kindly ask that you put all electronic devices away during that time. We have arranged for an amazing photographer and videographer to capture the entire night. You are welcome to take pictures after our ceremony and post them freely, just please let the professionals cover our "I do's"!
