It all started on New Year’s Eve 2013-2014. Erica's best friend, Linnea, wouldn’t stop talking up this guy she thought Erica would like. Of course, Erica wasn’t convinced—she actually had already decided he probably wasn’t her type in the slightest. But then he walked into the room, and Erica had one very clear thought:

“I’m going to marry that man.”

Of course, life had other plans. Over the years, Erica & Robert tried to date here and there, but timing and distance kept getting in the way. Still, the universe kept dropping hints—like the time they showed up at a Fourth of July party wearing matching shirts completely by accident. (They swear it wasn’t planned, but looking back, maybe fate was trying to tell them something.)

Fast forward to now: after years of missed chances, perfect timing finally showed up. And on August 8, 2026, Erica will get to marry the man she knew was “the one” the moment he walked through that door.
