Things to Do

If you are staying in Westchester County, the following is a list of activities and restaurants that we regularly enjoy:

Glen Island Park, New Rochelle, NY

Just a short 0.4 miles from Glen Island Harbour Club, Glen Island Park offers the perfect mix of relaxation and recreation. It is perfect for a peaceful walk along the beach, enjoying the views of Long Island Sound.

Untermyer Park and Gardens, Yonkers, NY

Untermyer Park and Gardens is known for its stunning gardens, picturesque views, and the iconic Persian-inspired Walled Garden. It is a place Matthew and myself, visit every single Spring. All the flowers are in bloom and there is a stunning view of the Hudson River.

Our Go-To Food Spots in Westchester

As foodies, we’re always seeking out the best dining spots, and Westchester County is home to some of our absolute favorites. The following is a list of places we go to more times than we should admit:

Dubrovnik, New Rochelle, NY - Ever try Croatian cuisine?! This place will not disappoint. It has fresh, delicious tasting seafood.

Koku, Armonk, NY - One thing about Matthew and Erica, their love for SUSHI. If you are a Sushi fan, go and try this local gem.

Serafina's Italian Restaurant, Scarsdale, NY For classic Italian cuisine. Matthew always gets the gnocchi and Erica always orders the Cacio & Pepe.

Crema Caffe, Eastchester, NY - Best local coffee with wonderful pastries to pair.

Half Moon, Dobbs Ferry, NY – Good seaford with a waterfront view of the Hudson River. Erica loves the shrimp tacos.

Hudson Social, Dobbs Ferry, NY – A great spot if you like American Cuisin, with views of the Hudson River.

Sign of the Whale, Stamford, CT – Great cocktails with a fun vibe for those on their way back to CT.
