After meeting and connecting on Hinge, we exchanged numbers and went on our first date at Lion's Den Gorge Nature Preserve.

Our first date got interrupted by Erica’s school calling to tell her to go into quarantine for 2 weeks as her lab partner had Covid. Went back to school to then get exposed again and had another 2 week quarantine right after.

Finally out of quarantine and had a date at Seven Bridges Park… before Erica went to MN for 1.5 months on an extended Winter break.

Somehow George had the patience to wait for Erica to get back to Milwaukee, probably all the video dates helped. Back together and able to go on dates all over Milwaukee.

Erica got to meet George’s family over Easter at his grandmother’s house.

Erica helped George find two cats, Noel and Stella, to adopt and spoil.

Two week summer break meant going on our first camping trip.

Belated birthday celebration and first time eating at Sorella (no relation to George’s family).

Erica was in her friend (and bridesmaid), Allie’s wedding, marking our first wedding together.

Although not as big as Minnesota’s State Fair, the Wisconsin State Fair was a lot of fun.

Got to see George’s favorite singer Phoebe Bridgers.

Study break to join George’s company, Materion, out at the Milwaukee zoo.

Celebrating our first dating anniversary and torturing the cats with sweaters.

George came to MN for Thanksgiving and to meet Erica’s family. Her family dog, Cleo, approved.

George was able to get Erica to her first Bucks game.

Went to see another favorite singer, Lucy Dacus.

Enjoyed a long weekend in Chicago for Erica’s spring break, and it was George’s first time in Chicago.

Erica was off on clinical rotations in Arizona from June to mid September, and then went to MN for her next rotation. Back to video date nights until she returned to Milwaukee in November.

Back home together and celebrated Christmas as a little family for the first time.

George told Erica they would take a break between running errands to take a walk at Lion's Den Gorge Nature Preserve (where we had our first date), and he proposed! We also almost forgot to take a picture.
