Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place right at Ironstone Ranch. Travel will not be necessary between the ceremony and the reception.
What time should I arrive?
We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!
Is there parking at Ironstone Ranch?
Yes. There is a parking lot on the property and a parking attendant will guide you the day of the wedding if you choose to drive.
What should I wear?
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal attire. Cocktail dresses, formal rompers, and jumpsuits for the ladies are just fine (there will be grass, so choose footwear accordingly). Sports jackets, and suits for the men.
Summers are hot out here on the ranch and we want our guests to be comfortable.
Will we be indoors or outdoors?
Both! The ranch is a beautiful place to explore, with tons of animals to meet! The ceremony will be held in the apple orchard. If there is inclement weather we will move to the mini barn. Cocktail hour will be both inside and outside, flowing from the ground floor of the main barn all the way to the horse and longhorn paddocks. The reception will be held inside the Main Barn.
Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?
Shuttles will be provided to and from the hotel to Ironstone Ranch. Times are to be determined.
Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
Please see our Travel and Accommodations page. We have a block at Hampton Inn Suites and also listed other hotels close by.
How close can I get to the animals?
Pretty darn close! Feel free to hang right next to the horses and longhorns in their pasture, but do not feed them. We also please ask our guests do not enter their paddocks for both our guest's and the animal's safety. Thank you!
What should I do if I can't make it?
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
How do I RSVP?
Once formal invitations are sent, we will have an electronic RSVP system in place to ensure we don’t lose anyone’s RSVP during our move.
